Stop Imposter Scams

In an imposter scam, someone pretends to be someone else for the purpose of getting your personal and/or financial information. This was the number one reported scam category in 2019, according to the Federal Trade Commission.
This information is provided by CENTS a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering people to improve their financial health by developing educational and legal resources to help prevent or overcome financial challenges. Their Senior Money project is a free consumer education program for seniors.
