Vaccine Appointments

To find an available appointment:
Go to Vaccinate WA: Find COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments Near You and enter your zip code. The list that appears will tell you the name of the facility offering the vaccine, which vaccines they offer, and whether or not they have appointments available. You will be able to schedule the appointment from the website or call to schedule an appointment at the facility you choose.

Vaccines for Home-bound individuals
The mobile vaccine team from the Island County Health Department will come to homes for those unable to get to a vaccination site. To schedule an appointment if you are homebound contact Sharon Branch at 360-678-2301 or email s.branch@islandcountywa.gov

Consult with your doctor to see if a booster is recommended for you.

Vaccine verification

Washington state has a new system called WA Verify available on smart phones. It provides a digital copy of your vaccination records in the form of a QR code. Businesses or organizations can scan the QR code a verify your vaccination status. This is an optional system. Your paper vaccination card is equally valid (original or copy).

The WA State Department of Health has an exposure ap for smart phones call WA Notifty. It will tell you if you have been exposed to COVID. Also, if you test positive for COVID it will notify other WANotify users that they may have been exposed. It is completely private and does know or track who you are or where you go.
