Nic Wildeman

Board Member

Nic brings an extensive background in healthcare following a 25-year career as one of the first paramedics in upstate New York. Nic went on to manage EMS, medical transportation, and outpatient services organizations in various locations in the U.S. and for a brief time consulted in Argentina and Puerto Rico.

During that career, he served as one of the first site evaluators for the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations as well as being appointed to the New York State Department of Health Commissioner’s Advisory Board on Prehospital Care.

He and his wife Gloria own Lionfish, a public affairs and marketing agency founded in 2004, working with technology, healthcare, and non-profit clients. Lionfish was selected by WhidbeyHealth’s Board of Commissioners to re-brand and restore public confidence in our island’s healthcare system.

Nic and his wife Gloria moved to Greenbank in 2016 where Nic is an active member in the Rotary Club of Whidbey Westside, as well as Rotary’s Global Action Group on Mental Health Initiatives.
