Senior Director, Finance
Leigh received her Masters of Business Administration from Seattle University’s Albers School of Business and Economics and the Sells Award for High Distinction on the Certified Public Accounting Exam. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College and graduated cum laude with Distinction. She is the Finance Director for Island Senior Resources, reporting to the Executive Director. She oversees all aspects of senior finance and information technology functions with a focus on internal controls and data security, including financial reporting, financial compliance, and preparation of the agency’s annual budget and grant contract budgets in concert with program managers and senior management. She also directs the annual single audit, financial statement preparation, federal tax return preparations, and compilations in accordance with GAAP, develops policies and procedures to optimize the efficiency and accuracy of operations, and is a prominent leader in defining the strategic direction for the organization.
Leigh has over 20 years of experience serving as Chief Financial Officer, controller, or financial consultant to private organizations, governmental entities, and nonprofits, providing the full spectrum of executive-level finance, accounting, and economic development services.
Leigh also has 17 years of service to community organizations in positions on their board of directors, advisory boards, or educational teaching capacities.
