Golden Jubilee 2022

In late July 2022 Island Senior Resources celebrated 50 years of service with donors, volunteers, and friends. Special thanks to the businesses, organizations, and event participants who helped to make this day at Greenbank Farm such a success. Thank you to all who have helped to sustain ISR’s work all these years on behalf of seniors, adults with disabilities, and those who care for them. We couldn’t do it without you.

Thank you to all of you who gave us your RSVP. This event is now at full capacity so we are currently not taking any additional reservations. Event details:

  • Greenbank Farm, 765 Wonn Rd, Greenbank, WA 98253
  • The event runs on Sunday the 31st of July from 4:00pm-6:30pm. Guests should aim to arrive between 4:00 and 4.20pm

Please attend the Golden Jubilee 50 Year Celebration for a free outdoor dinner, music, and fun activities. July 31 from 4 pm – 6 pm at Greenbank Farm. We welcome Island Senior Resources donors, supporters, staff, volunteers, their families and guests to this special gathering that includes:

  • A dinner of smoked pork, tofu, side salads from our own ISR kitchens, lemonade, and ice cream from Whidbey Ice Cream
  • A 1972 Jello mold contest
  • Our time capsule to send artifacts and letters to future generations
  • Some good 1970’s style music
  • A story booth
  • And no speeches nor fundraising – this event is for us to thank you!
  • The event is free thanks to the generosity of a donor, local companies, and organizations.
  • If you are planning to attend, an RSVP is required. We need to know how many people are coming with you, any transportation needs, and meal preferences.
