Experience the cultural roots and contemporary influences of Japan through live performances, visual arts, hands-on activities, food, games, Taiko drumming, and artisan demonstrations. The Seattle Center has hosted this cultural immersion for 40 years in appreciation of 1,000 cherry trees gifted to Seattle by Prime Minister Takeo Miki on behalf of the Japanese government in commemoration of our nation’s bicentennial.
Bring money for food and purchases.
Wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothing, and walking shoes.
