Janet St Clair, Executive Director for Sound Water Stewards will present the wonderful diversity of the Salish Sea, the importance of our shoreline estuaries, key impacts of our choices and behavior, and how we can make a difference to support a healthy and sustainable Puget Sound. Also includes an overview of Sound Water Stewards and how to get involved.

Whether you want to reduce stress, save money, or have mobility issues, or ride a bike like a pro, Island Transit can assist with your transportation needs. Learn about new Saturday Service, guided tours, bike shelters, van service for social service organizations, vanpools, paratransit, and regular bus service. Maribeth Crandell from Island Transit will introduce all the new services and acquaint you with regular fixed route bus service.

Roger Hickman will present the history of bonsai and a demonstration of the art and science of bonsai. Roger has been a member of the Puget Sound Bonsai Association for 20 years.

Join Executive Director, Cheryn Weiser, and learn about the many ways to volunteer at Island Senior Resources: Senior Thrift, Meals on Wheels, Meal Sites, Adult Day Services, and Medical Transportation. Volunteers add meaning to their lives and to the lives of others.
