Lunch and Learn – October 2018

Presentations occur Tuesdays from 12:30 pm to 1:30pm. These free, no-charge events are open to the public. Lunch is optional (suggested donation is $5) and is served from 11:45am to 12:30pm. View the Nutrition portion of this site for information on what will be served for lunch.

Let’s talk about death at Whidbey Island’s first Death Café. At a Death Café people drink tea, eat cake and discuss death. The aim is to increase awareness of death and help us make the most of our (finite) lives.

Whidbey Island Center for the Arts Lots is happening at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts. Come hear what’s new, how things work there and have your questions answered about how they get from an idea to a full-blown production. You will learn about volunteer opportunities too!
