As a warm-hearted and dedicated home health caregiver with 38 years as an island resident, I offer nearly four decades of compassionate, hands-on experience in hospice, private-duty home health, med/surg, NICU, labor & delivery, and newborn nursery environments. Having served in hospitals as a CNA, patient care technician, and health unit coordinator, I’ve developed strong skills in essential medical and personal care—including safe transfers, medication reminders, wound dressing and bandage care, bathing, assistance with activities of daily living, transportation, companionship, errands, light housekeeping, and clerical/computer support—to help clients maintain dignity, independence, and comfort at home. What brings me the most joy beyond professional caregiving is sharing life’s simple pleasures: preparing gourmet meals and baked goods, crafting homemade fruit preserves, gifting fresh roses and vegetables from my gardens, playing my guitar, and designing handmade greeting cards as a watercolor artist.
