Alex is committed to making a difference in the community he calls home and feels passionate about bringing his skills to the nonprofit sector. He brings many years of healthcare leadership experience to Island Senior Resources, most recently having launched a new rehabilitation hospital in Lynnwood, where he served as Chief Executive Officer for Providence Swedish. Prior to that, he worked at CHI Franciscan Rehabilitation Hospital, first as Director of Quality Management and then as Interim Chief Executive Officer.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Washington State University and completed a rigorous executive leadership fellowship. He is excited to bring his experience in healthcare operations and organizational leadership to support Island Senior Resources’ mission of serving older adults, individuals with disabilities, and caregivers across Island County.
Alex lives with his partner and two big dogs near Bayview on Whidbey Island. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, camping, hiking, and pickleball.
