We are pleased to announce that Alex Seymour has joined Island Senior Resources as our Executive Director.
Following a thoughtful and thorough search, we found in Alex a leader who embodies the values, vision, and commitment that define ISR. He brings extensive leadership experience, a collaborative spirit, and a deep dedication to serving the residents of Island County. We are excited to welcome him and begin this new chapter together.
Today, ISR stands on a solid foundation. For more than 53 years, we have adapted to meet the evolving needs of our community while remaining committed to our mission of supporting older adults and helping them live with dignity, independence, and purpose.
As we enter this new chapter, ISR is:
- Building partnerships across Island County to strengthen our collective capacity to care for older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers.
- Expanding its capacity by investing in key leadership roles to strengthen our programs, deepen community connections, and help to build a more innovative and sustainable organization for the future.
- Focused on meeting the growing community needs while remaining grounded in our mission and values.
With Alex’s leadership, we are confident in ISR’s ability to grow, evolve, and deepen its impact in the years ahead.
