Nancy Bolin-Romanski

Prior to coming to Whidbey in 2013, Nancy was a principle for 28 years in Transform, Inc., a survey, training, and consulting firm. Before that she was a consultant for the Maryland State Department of Education, Library Development Division. She also worked for the Cleveland Public Library, the Cuyahoga County Public Library, the Sichangu Oyate HO/St. Francis Indian School (SD), and the Cambridge (OH) Mental Health and Development Center.
As a member of the American Library Association, Ohio Library Association, and the National Council on Aging Humanities Council she was active in developing guidelines and services to the aging, impaired elderly, prison, mental health and developmental disabilities communities.
Bringing people and information together has been a driving force in her life, especially for older adults.Her current volunteer work includes the North Whidbey Vital Aging Coalition and various outreach ministries at St. Augustine Catholic Church.
Nancy holds a B.A. degree from the College of St. Mary of the Springs (OH), a M.A. in Library Science from the University of Michigan, and a SPEC degree in Gerontology (NCOA Fellow) from the University of Wisconsin.
