Julie Ann Jackson

Julie is a dedicated professional with 35 years of experience in mortgage lending and volunteer efforts, as well as a wealth of expertise in analyzing income, budgets and financial documents.
Throughout her career, Julie has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving the lives of those in her community. She has been actively involved in volunteering on PTA boards, is currently serving as an EcSA mentor for The Opportunity Council. She is an Island County Planning Commissioner for District 2, Position 1, and is an affiliate member of the Whidbey Island Association of Realtors (WIAR) committee for DEIA. Notably, Julie has helped seniors save thousands of dollars in their budgets.
In addition to her professional and volunteer experience, Julie holds a degree in Economics from The University of Washington. She continues to stay on top of current legislation and education in the fields of credit and housing.
As a member of the board, Julie is passionate about enhancing senior care services, advocating for senior rights, expanding community programs, and collaborating with those that share her vision. She believes that every senior citizen deserves to live with dignity, respect, and access to the resources they need.
In her personal time, Julie enjoys spending time with her adult kids and husband of 30 years. She is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her first grandchild in September 2024. The beach is her happy place. Reading and cooking are favorite pastimes.
Julie is honored to join the board of Island Senior Resources and looks forward to contributing to its mission of serving and empowering senior citizens.
