December 17 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 10:00am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, repeating until December 21, 2018
Participants in this program enjoy a dynamic community that is uniquely theirs. They are among friends who are happy to hear their stories, learn about their lives and reminisce. When they are at Time Together, they form a cohesive “family” where differences are accepted, where laughter, tears and precious moments are shared. Positive activities enjoyed by Time Together participants include music, dancing, exercise for the body and mind, gardening, hands-on creative projects, outings, lively discussions, and games.
The program has a dual purpose. Not only does it provide an opportunity for social engagement for those who might otherwise be isolated at home, it also provides a pause for 24-hour caregivers, who need respite to stay physically and emotionally healthy. Time Together Adult Day Program offers respite to caregivers, enabling them to have the space and time to attend to family business, errands, doctors appointments, shopping and self care. Participants of Time Together may have physical or cognitive impairments associated with stroke, Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s and other challenging physical conditions can lead to social isolation and depression.
